The client was rebuilt on the modern engine but inherits memory management issues from the beta. Combined with the launch-week server load, players experience FPS drops, stutter and lag that are fixable client-side.
1) Update GPU drivers. 2) Disable overlays. 3) Lower shadows and view distance. 4) Clean up addons. 5) Apply the automated fix tool preset. Together these steps give the biggest improvement for the least effort.
